Welcome to Year 2! On this page you can find some useful information about our work in English, Maths and History for this half-term. We may also share pictures and news from other areas of learning.

Our current English text is 'The Dragon Machine'.

This half-term, in Geography, our area of learning is Antarctic, Cold Areas of the World.

In maths, the children will recap the names of 2D and 3D shapes and move on to describe their properties and group shapes based on this. Children will also be introduced to symmetry. We will then move onto multiplication and division.

Our afternoons will be filled with Art, PSHE, RE, Science and PE.
