Welcome to Autumn 2 in Jeffers Class! On this page you can find some useful information about our work in English, Maths and History for this half-term. 

Our core text in English is 'Katie in London'. Children will continue to work on sentence structure using correct punctuation and will work towards writing a diary in the 1st person.

During Autumn 2, Class 1/2 H will further develop their knowledge and understanding of larger numbers – working up to 100. We will focus on grouping tens and partitioning numbers into tens and ones. We will continue to use number lines to estimate and find more and less than any given number.

This half-term, in History, our area of learning is The Throne - Lives of Significant Individuals. Children will use a timeline to find out the period of time when a monarch reigned and will compare two British monarchs.
