Safeguarding Policy 2023

Low Level Concerns Policy

Blackburn with Darwen LA provide school with an efficient web filtering system. The system provides our school with weekly reporting data that supports the Senior Leadership Team with their efforts to ensure 100% effectiveness with regards to Online Safety for all stakeholders.

Our internal technician provision, Blue Orange, are experienced users of Forti Analyser and the data produced supports our own internal filtering checks that are carried out.

Additional information on Online Safety can be located in the Parents section.

All safeguarding documentation is read and understood (signed) by all the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and governors.

The Senior Leadership Team are responsible for the recording, implementation and tracking of all statutory updates and training requirements. Copies of all training certificates can be found in individuals personnel files.

The Headteacher or Deputy Head Teacher carries out induction meetings with newly appointed staff to ensure key messages, policies and procedures are followed.
